Who We Are
Beth, Sandi, and Tammy are three retired teachers and best friends with over 95 years of teaching experience combined. Throughout their careers, they loved making a positive impact in their schools, and that passion didn’t end when they retired from the teaching in the classroom.
Driven by a desire to see the next generation thrive, they believe it all begins with genuine connections. Today, they’re channeling their experience into a project that helps students and families unplug, share meaningful conversations, and build authentic relationships, one genuine question at a time.
The Struggle Is Real And Here's Why
Educators are juggling a lot. Time is limited and it's hard fitting everything into daily schedule to support social and emotional growth as well as curriculum.
"Fine" or "I don't know" are often the vague responses parents hear from their kids. Parents are left looking for genuine answers and connect from their kids.
Its no surprise that technology has made a profound impact on the world, especially young minds. True connection with others feels hard to find.

I have had the privilege of working as a Special Education teacher for many of my 33 years of teaching. I have helped students of all abilities discover their voice, build confidence, and connect with people around them. With the right support, encouragement and understanding, children can gain confidence, find their voice and transform their lives. My work has centered on building bridges—between people, ideas, and possibilities. I believe good communication is not just about words, but is about listening, empathy, and connection. Together, we can turn communication into connection, and opinions into strength.

As an experienced teacher, presenter and educational leader of 30+ years, I have had a front-row seat to the most vital shift of our time: technology silencing the conversations that truly matter. I am committed to putting the power of authentic conversation back into homes, classrooms and communities because the most important connections happen in person, not on a screen. I know we can reboot authentic communication and I am on a mission to make it happen! Together, we can reignite meaningful, face-to-face conversations, strengthening relationships, building confidence, and creating a foundation for lifelong success.

As an educator with over 30 years of experience in classrooms, teacher training and supporting literacy and mathematics programs, I have witnessed a common challenge: students’ increasing struggle to find the words to express what they truly think. Research shows that strong oral language: speaking, listening, and meaningful conversation, is the key to unlocking success. Yet in today’s fast-paced, screen-driven world, parents and teachers find it difficult to connect meaningfully with children. That is where we hope to make a difference, to support children, their peers and the adults who guide them.
